If Top Rank being on DAZN helps some bigger fights get made, then that will certainly be a good thing for the sport. The deal itself doesn't seem to be a home run or anything, but it's a place for them to plant a flag and get things moving.

In order for boxing to be successful in this day and age. ALL the promoters have to find away to work with eachother - put the differences aside. Fighters will get paid. Fans will get the fights they want. Platforms will benefit. Everyone wins. 🥊💯

Boxers who turn pro have to get some kind of media training. It exists in every sport pretty much except boxing. It will benefit them in every step of the way - telling a compelling story, knowing how to answer questions. More importantly knowing what not to say…

Also I think it’s time to bring back the club shows (every promoter use to do it) it keeps the roster busy, while growing the fan base in the fighters home town. Too often everyone in boxing is waiting for the big bag. Time to go back to the basics.
